Kisura House

Kisura is an extension to the typically African rustic and eco hotel Diamond Beach Village on Manda facing the famous Peponi Hotel on Lamu Island.

Kisura was personally designed by Helen Feiler and built by her daughter Rachael, the owner and manager of Diamond Beach.

Kisura (Meaning: Swahili for Gorgeously beautiful Lady) has three floors and can sleep up to 10 people; it is set in over one acre of its own grounds with a local African village in one corner that brings a friendly local feel to the whole area. There are en-suite bathrooms on the ground and middle floor with flush toilet, hand basin and shower. Extra large mosquito nets cover the ample 6’ beads on all floors.

Most visitors want to just relax on one of the many swinging beds that cover the balcony and gardens or stroll along the beautiful white sands of Manda beach. Enjoy your meals and sundown cocktails overlooking the Indian Ocean at Diamond Beach Village only meters away from Kisura.
